19th Annual International Conference on "Traffic Noise" | From 01st - 03rd October 2010, Dresden, Germany with The Netherlands as the partner country.
We are pleased to invite the global noise protection and soundproofing community to attend the 19th Annual International Conference on Traffic Noise.
It will again bring together industry experts and highest level executives from every infrastructure to provide a forum for an interdisciplinary and international exchange to share experiences and solutions on existing and future approaches towards noise abatement.

This annual event addresses scientists, researchers and industrial and administrative practitioners, but also representatives from politics and from both national and international governmental and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) dealing with noise prevention issues and innovative approaches towards noise abatement.
Being a platform for the exchange of experiences among decision-makers across the various disciplines of road, rail, sea and air transport, this conference aims at developing more effective strategies for the protection of the population and the entire environment from traffic noise and at implementing them as swiftly as possible.
Furthermore, this event feels obliged to make a contribution towards increasing public awareness of noise protection in the context of global environmental policies. For the fact that noise caused by transportation is of a cross-bordering nature, approaches towards an internationally harmonized noise protection policy shall be discussed.
This international event focuses on all the key noise issues including e.g.
Papers that focus on the described topics are very welcome. We are looking forward to receiving inspiring suggestions addressed to us regarding possible workshop topics and plenary papers to create an interesting conference program.
The organizor would like to ask to devote the papers intended for the plenary session to the more general aspects of the topics to be dealt with and present them in an easily comprehensible way.

According to our participants and supported by our own research, there is no comparable conference on the topic of traffic noise protection throughout Europe. When it is about discussing and preparing new strategies in combating traffic noise, then the Dresden International Conference on "Traffic Noise" offers to be the appropriate and unchallenged platform.

In order to represent national experiences and characteristics at the conference appropriately, we have come to choose a different partner country every year to be at the focus of the event.
In 2010, discussions will be focused on contributions of our partner country The Netherlands. Plenary papers from around the world, e.g. Korea and New Zealand will complete this year's agenda.
This year, the Dresden Hilton Hotel will serve as location for the International Conference on Traffic Noise. Located in the center of Dresden next to the Frauenkirche church, the Hilton Hotel and it's modern congress center offer to be the perfect spot for the ICTN 2010.

The quoted prices apply to participating in the entire conference. Splitting the fee on individual days or parts is not possible.
If several participants from one organization register jointly, the third and each further participant will enjoy a 15% discount.
